White Sands

White Sands National Monument

Imagine a white desert in the middle of nowhere

If you haven’t seen my Instagram, I’m currently on a roadtrip through a few states in America. The first few days was a bit of a haze due to jetlag and I didn’t take too many photos but yesterday we finally reached White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, which is the part of the trip that I’ve been looking forward to the most. Basically, these are massive white sand dunes pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Reaching out for kilometers you can hike through the dunes and stop off for picnics etc. It is a really cool place and if you ever get the chance to check it out, please make the trip!
Following White Sands we started driving towards Santa Fe and got caught in a snow storm. Really weird going from +20 degree weather to -2 in a matter of hours. Now we’ll be staying in Santa Fe for a few hours and then turning west toward Arizona.
