Monday Moodboard no.10

Monday Moodboard

Can we start the weekend over again? I wasn’t ready.

Do you ever have those Mondays when all you can think about is the weekend you just had? It’s almost like this fuzzy, nice feeling inside of your body and anything dull is overshadowed by these nice memories? That’s how my Monday is today. We got back yesterday evening from our mini roadtrip and I’m just so overly happy that we finally did it! Even though we only crossed off a tiny part of the map, it inspired me to get out and see more. Whenever we know that we have a long period of time off we tend to book flights away but there’s really no need because there’s more than enough to see and do in Scotland. There was something so relaxing about throwing stuff into a car and just driving. No need to queue up in busy airports, deal with currencies, check if your roaming works abroad, navigate different maps and street names etc. I’ve never been a big roadtripper or nature person but I have a feeling that’s about to change. Haha as soon as we got back yesterday I booked an Airbnb for October so we’ll be adventuring again soon enough! I’ve slowly started going through some of my photos from the weekend so I’ll put together a separate post later on this week. Surprisingly, I didn’t take as many photos as I thought, but I think it was because I was just so in awe of the landscape. And sometimes it’s nice to put down the camera and enjoy the moment. I’ll probably take more photos next time, especially as I couldn’t get a close up of a highland cow, which is basically a life goal of mine.

About Me - a lifestyle + travel blog by KK Land

Welcome to my blog! This space started due to a combination of things – my cosmopolitan lifestyle and my love of taking photos. My biggest love is to travel and I don’t stay put in one place for more than a few weeks.

Here you can find a mix of different posts, such as my days spent in Edinburgh, with a coffee cup in hand. Or my travel adventures in different countries. Or some style posts- I’m a casual gal but enjoy a good statement piece.
